The library is an enrollment site for the NY State Health Insurance Marketplace. Navigators from the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will be at the library on the first Friday of every month. The Hospital Council is a state-appointed lead navigator agency to help people enroll in Child Health Plus and Medicaid, and to see if they qualify for tax credits to help pay for insurance available in the NY State of Health Insurance Marketplace. Documents required to enroll include: a Photo ID, Proof of Address, and Proof of Income for the past four weeks or Last Year’s Income Tax. For more information on how to prepare please call the NSCH Navigators Office at 631-435-3000.
